Let's get caught up!

Well, where do I start to get you caught up? I will pick a few pics from when we last left you on our old website until now. Watch how Ava and Olivia grow and change! Here we go........

We bought a home we love in a neighborhood we love and started adding our touches. Victor landscaped the outside. He put in the slate patio out front and added the mounded up landscaping! He is so talented at that! OF COURSE I painted, remodeled and added my touch to the inside of the house! We both designed the screened in patio out back and Victor built an outdoor fireplace. Home sweet home! Come on down for a visit!

Ava had her 3rd birthday in our new house. It was a princess mermaid theme. Her buela (victor's mom) made the cake and topped it with a look-a-like Ava Mermaid. Ava sat on her mermaid hill with seashell (courtesy of her mommy's rigging one up for her....ha!....don't laugh....she liked it!) all dolled up like an official mermaid! She had to dress like a mermaid and made many mermaid costume changes!

We took our family picture in front of the house and, as you can see, the girls loved it! Happy times were had by all! The finished product looks so calm and effortless doesn't it? We took the picture early because Victor was going to Italy for 6 weeks and would be back just in time for Christmas.

While Victor was working very, very, very, hard in Italy the girls and I entertained ourselves to pass the time until daddy got home!

The girls dressed up as a dog and cat for Halloween. So appropriate since they fight like cats and dogs! Ha! They skyped with Victor so he wouldn't miss out on how cute they loooked. To pass the time I dressed them up in pink tutus and tried to do a photo shoot!( Uncle Ro fixed the lighting on the ballerina picture and that is why it looks so good.) The girls and I went to LA to visit Uncle Ro, Dalanie, Sullivan and Etta for Thanksgiving. Mamaw and Papaw were there but I don't have any pictures for some reason. The girls also spent time at Buela and Buelos to give mommy a break while daddy was in Italy. We stayed busy until Victor returned from Italy right before Christmas.

I do not have any pictures of Victor's return from Italy, or of Christmas, or the New Year we spent with my parents and sister's family. I don't have any pictures of Victor's Grad School party....he got his masters degree in International Relations and Conflict Resolution and we threw him a surprise party at his parent's house. Congrats Victor! (Now if only he could resolve conflicts at home....where's your degree in that...ha!) I also don't have any pictures of Victor's birthday! I have no idea where they are, but someone has these pictures and I will scout them out. If I find them I will post them. Victor took us to Italy for 3 weeks in January and I will make another post for that soon!! SO....we skip to my birthday. The pictures are at a dinner party Victor threw for me at one of my favorite restaurants with some of my favorite friends! And to finally catch you up to date, we arrive at Olivia's 2nd birthday party. She wanted a baby party. She is obsessed with real babies and baby dolls! I tried so hard to create a cute baby themed cake for her and it fell apart as the party progressed! I have never seen a cake get a huge bubble in it, but this one did. It was possessed! Or maybe the baby had gas! I don't know! Olivia had a fun time with her friends and relatives. She even enjoyed a kiss from her sister! We had her party on Saturday and her brother's memorial birthday last night. We released balloons and I made a special cake for him. I don't have those pictures downloaded yet so that will be my next post. You have arrived....you are up to date! Whew! More later.......
